FIVE REASONS CASH IS THE BEST WAY TO PAY
If you can do it, cash is by far the best way to pay for your counseling.
Insurance requires that the counselor diagnose you with a mental illness. Cash is just between you and me.
Insurance dictates how many sessions you can have per year. With cash, you make that decision.
Insurance can arbitrarily decide not to cover you and you're stuck with the bill. It happens.
INSURANCES I ACCEPT
If you want or need to use insurance, I accept:
Blue Cross/Blue Shield
Blue Care Network
Blue Cross Complete (Medicaid)
Meridian (including Medicaid)
Magellan (including Medicaid)
McLaren (including Medicaid)
If your insurance company is not on the above list, I do not accept them.
If you want to use your insurance, you'll need to verify your benefits. Here's a document that makes it easy.
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, for any reason, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay a $50 missed session fee.*
No-shows will be assessed a $75 fee, payable before any future sessions are scheduled.
*This is not punitive! Life happens, and I get that. The fees are so I don't take a total loss on an hour of session time. I trust you understand this.
I take cash, debit, HSA cards, Paypal , (email@example.com) and all major credit cards. No checks.
